For first time clients…
Please fill out and bring in the Intake Form for your first appointment. Doing this ahead of time will save time when you arrive for your session. Otherwise please plan to arrive 5 - 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment to complete your form.
First time cupping & gua sha clients will also fill out the Cupping & Gua Sha Release.
Cancellation Policy
Your appointment time is reserved for you and your provider plans their time around their booked appointments.
We require a 24 hour cancellation notice for all appointments at Yoga Zen. If you cancel outside of this policy please note that 50% of services booked will be charged to your credit card on file.
If you do not show up to your appointment without giving us notice, please note that we will have to charge 100% of the services booked to the card we have on file.
If your bodywork provider has to cancel your session due to illness or extenuating circumstances, the appointment will remain as a credit on your studio account.

Gretchen Burchi graduated in 2003 from the American Institute of Massage Therapy in south Florida, where she focused on Swedish massage and deep tissue massage and was introduced to a handful of other modalities. She is forever grateful to use her experience and knowledge to help each individual through any season of their lives.
Gretchen enjoys working with prenatal clients through their journey of carrying baby to encourage both mom and baby are being cared for during such a meaningful time. She also completed her Oncology Massage certification in 2019 to improve symptoms from both cancer as well as the side effects of cancer treatments.
When she’s not helping others enhance their well-being she is forever working on her own. Gretchen has a fierce love for nature so hiking, trail running, yoga and camping with her family are what makes her world go round.

Ashley Battell, LMT, started her holistic healthcare journey in 2017 when her family moved to Michigan. She started with completing her certifications in Practical Acupuncture and Clinical Nutrition / Herbology in 2018 from Blue Heron Academy.
Next she became a registered 200 hr Yoga and Barre instructor. She loves being able to guide people through movement and breath, and incorporates that into her massage techniques as well. In 2024, she also became a certified Thai Massage Practitioner through Simplified Yoga Method. She then completed additional advanced training in Traditional and Table Thai Massage in 2025.
Finally, she successfully graduated from Great Lakes School of Massage in June of 2025. Becoming a LMT has always been her main goal, but adding all these other modalities leading up to the LMT created her unique, intuitive and efficient technique style!
When she is not helping others feel better in their bodies and nervous systems, Ashley loves live music, dancing, travel, yoga, weight lifting, kayaking, hiking, skiing and spending time with her husband, step son, 2 dogs, and 2 cats. She is currently working on building a homestead where her family can have farm animals too! She has a hippie heart, a free spirit, and loves caring for others.

Danielle graduated from The Academy of Alternative Healing Arts in 2021 where she learned different modalities, many from Eastern influence. She also attended the Holistic Health Consultant class after her massage class.
She is passionate about women's health and wellness, and has worked with clients that have endometriosis, fibromyalgia and MS and can suit her treatment to individual needs. Helping others has always been something she is drawn to, which is why she chose this path. She is excited to continue learning and growing in this new career and is looking forward to meeting you.
Danielle enjoys the outdoors, planting flowers, trying new hobbies, gaming, dancing, and cooking with her daughters.

Catherine experienced reiki for the first time in 2018, just before she opened The Yoga Zen, and felt such a profound sense of release and return to balance energetically and emotionally that she sought out reiki therapy many times since.
She received her Reiki I & II certification in March 2020 and her Reiki Master Practitioner certification in 2022.
Reiki has been a way for Catherine to ground and grow deeper awareness while navigating the complexities of daily life; she’s passionate about sharing healing experiences with others in her reiki sessions.
